Our newly renovated campsite features two terraced levels with 20 spacious stands to choose from. The Riverfront Stands sit right on the riverbank, many shaded by well-established trees. Just above, the Terrace View Stands offer elevated views of the river along with the added convenience of being closer to private bathrooms and ablutions.

“What a gem, this is truly one of the nicest campsites we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Amazing grassed an very level stands. The private ablutions are absolutely splendid. The river is magnificent and the communal lapa is very nice. We had the privilege of being invited for a trip on their large wooden boat and it was a great experience. They keep a few items like fresh water ,wood and ice in the small shop. Town is not far if you need to do other shopping. The hosts are the most wonderful people and truly made our stay memorable. I can most certainly recommend this amazing spot and we will most certainly return for more visits.”

Belle was so attentive throughout our stay, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were comfortable. “Falcon River Reserve was a wonderful experience. The campsites were a good size and the electricity points helped keep the beers cold. The ablution facilities are first-class and were kept beautifully clean. The lapa and fire place kept us warm & dry whilst we braai’ed through the wind & rain. We will definitely be back.”
“We have camped for many years and Falcon ticks all the boxes.Perfectly managed facilities. Prestine location, immaculate ablutions, amazing water activities (SUP, kayaking and swimming) on the Breede River. Really cool Lapa on the edge of the river for larger braai. Close to many excursions, Marloth Nature Reserve, Witsand, Malagas etc. Back here beginning November and then for a week in December. Can’t wait! Thank you Izak, Belle and Ben. We loved our stay!”

“We spent the weekend camping at Falcon River Reserve and it was absolutely fantastic! The riverside setting on the Breede River is peaceful and beautifully maintained — perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The stands are spacious and the private bathroom we had access to was clean, modern and added a real touch of comfort to our stay.
We and our kids loved kayaking, fishing and hiking while we enjoyed a laid-back braai by the water. The hosts were warm, welcoming and attentive — they truly helped make our stay special.
There’s a small shop, lapa, viewpoint trail and free wifi which worked very well.

“We camped at Falcon River Reserve from Thursday to Sunday and had the absolute best time! The ablutions were spotless and beautifully maintained, and the lapa area had everything we needed — perfect for relaxing and spending time together.
The highlight was definitely the river — the kids spent hours swimming, fishing, and kayaking. It was such a peaceful and fun spot for the whole family.
Belle and her family were amazing hosts — warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly too, which was a nice bonus!
